  • 2007

    The start of the journey

    It all started back in 2007. Back then, Jason Gendron - the founder, was the owner of an IT services company, which had over 20 employees. As the company grew, he struggled to keep up with all the HR admin as it was too time consuming. That is when Jason started to develop a web-based software called Time-Off Manager, to help him track everyone's time-off.

  • 2009

    Company created

    At the beginning of 2009, Time-Off Manager was used internally within the company, and everyone really liked it! By the end of 2009, seeing the potential in Time-Off Manager, Jason decided to sell his IT service company, and launch a new company called Ironflow Technologies Inc, which would mainly develop Time-Off Manager as a business on its own.

  • 2011

    Time-Off Manager launched to public

    At the beginning of 2011, Time-Off Manager was launched to the public as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

  • 2012

    Interest in other HR products

    As Time-Off Manager kept growing at a rapid pace, a lot of our clients showed interest in other products that would help their business and HR, such as Time-Clock, Time-Sheet, Applicant Tracking, etc. This is when we decided to create a suite of products that would hold all these solutions. PurelyHR was then borned.

  • 2015

    Launch of PurelyHR

    After 3 years of hard work, we were finally ready to launch PurelyHR. At launch, PurelyHR only had 5 products, which were Staff, Time-Off, Time-Sheet, Time-Clock and Warnings. More products are on the way, so stay tuned to eventually be part of a full-blown HR solution.
