Founded in 1986, BRC initially focused on analyzing
automotive collisions, determining the application of
the collision force to the vehicle occupants, and
determining injury consequences.
Over the years, they have expanded their services to respond to the growing demand in traumatic incident analysis including, but not limited to, both high and low-velocity passenger vehicle collisions, slip and fall events, and injury events involving aircraft, bicycles, motorcycles, ATVs, boats, elevators, forklifts, tractor-trailers, trains, amusement park rides, power tools and light industrial equipment.
We spoke with the HR team at BRC in order to understand more about the issues they were experiencing with human resource management.
Like many businesses, they were concerned with the efficiency of their attendance tracking process. Without an online system to track employee absences, the firm was left with a cumbersome spreadsheet to manage attendance and process payroll. This was costing them valuable time as all employee data entry was being done manually.
Besides the time involved, it also wasn’t a task that could be easily handed off between colleagues. This complex task could not be learned overnight and the risk of errors increased when the manager or payroll administrator was absent.
